Billington’s Gingerbread, currently celebrating its bicentennial year, is to re-launch with a brand new packaging design for the national market at the Speciality and Fine Food Fair taking place on 3-5th September at London Olympia.
Previously handmade, the heritage gingerbread is now being baked and manufactured at the Image on Food headquarters in Shropshire by artisan baker, Tim Hopcroft.
Mr Hopcroft combines traditional skills with the most up-to-date baking equipment, meeting the standards required by the industry for food quality standards and procedures.
Billington’s Gingerbread will be located at stand number 2352 where they will be inviting potential trade customers, and distributors, to sample the gingerbread, as well as dunk it into Port, a tradition dating back to the farmers’ wives of the local town.
The Speciality Fine Food Fair takes place from 3-5 September at London Olympia.
